This piece was accepted by jury for inclusion in the 2008 Wood Objects Juried Woodwork Exhibition in Ottawa.
I had a scale model of the idea for this three-legged table in my shop for 2 years until I found some particularly attractive iroko boards.  The straight yet interesting grain and stripes are perfect for the aprons, which are bent-laminated.    The aprons do not meet, but rather are capped with ebony to provide an extra detail.  The legs are mahogany, and there is a very subtle mahogany inlay on the table top.
