This end table features a wormy butternut top cut from a local tree found standing dead. The taper on the two inner sides of the legs carefully follows the grain in the legs. The table is assembled with mortise and tenon joinery, with blind dovetails in the front. As is the norm for my drawers, the bottom is a solid wood raised panel, with quarter sawn maple sides joined by hand-cut dovetails.
